Emit Solar | Home Solar Panels | Easy Ownership
Choosing a solar panel involves more than comparing price or wattage. At Emit Solar, we assess technology, performance, reliability, warranty protection, supply stability, and overall value for Malaysian homes.
We don’t choose panels lightly
Solar panels are long-term investments that remain on your roof for decades. For that reason, we look beyond headline specifications and focus on factors that matter over the life of the system.
We ask:
Only panels that meet these standards are deployed.
Why we choose Aiko
When we were evaluating solar panel manufacturers, Aiko stood out immediately, and not just on paper. Here’s what won us over:
Aiko not only uses the latest cell technology, but they also own and develop the technology that delivers stronger performance than conventional panels.
Aiko uses All Back Contact (ABC) solar cell technology, which places electrical contacts on the back and allows more of the front surface to absorb sunlight.
Aiko’s shading mitigation technology genuinely surprised our engineers. Most brands talk about it, but only Aiko demonstrated it.
Aiko is a Tier-1 manufacturer with strong technical credentials, and they don’t just make panels. They also sell their technology to several other major brands in the market. You would be surprised that many Tier-1 brands get their solar cells from Aiko.
Our panel choice has evolved
We have long deployed Aiko panels because they offer strong technology, reliable performance, credible warranty support, and a good fit for Malaysian homes.
Our earlier choice was Aiko’s 510W panel, a smaller, premium option with a sleek all-black finish and no visible cell lines. It was lighter, more flexible on complex roof shapes, and genuinely beautiful to install. For a time, it was the right fit.
But as panel technology, supply chains, and customer requirements evolved, our panel selection evolved as well.
Manufacturers are moving toward larger, higher-wattage panels because they offer better value per watt and improve logistics efficiency.
Geopolitical shifts disrupted logistics significantly. Shipping costs escalated in ways that no longer made sense for local pricing.
Demand for smaller panels in countries with stricter manual handling have surged, pushing prices up sharply. Larger panels offer far better value per watt for Malaysian customers.
Despite being technically more premium, most Malaysian homeowners preferred larger panels – and we listen to our customers.
Why the 670W panel makes sense today
The Aiko 670W panel delivers more power per panel while retaining the same ABC cell and anti-shading technology that led us to choose Aiko in the first place.
The larger format gives us stronger output and better value per watt for many Malaysian homes, without compromising on the technology or performance standards we expect.
Per panel output
More energy per panel than before

Longer in size
More power. Proven technology. Better value for Malaysian homes.
That’s why we put our name behind it – and why we’re confident it’s the right panel for you.
